How To Crab Reach & Under Switch with Third Space Trainer Adrien Lambert. 1) Start, seated with your hands on the floor behind you and your shoulders stacked above your wrists. Legs bent, feet flat, butt off the floor. This is your crab position. 2) Take one arm off the floor and place it in front of your chest. 3) Drive your hips up and reach overhead with your free arm as far as you can. 4) Come back to your crab position and rotate inward to a bear position by putting your free hand on the floor. 5) Flow through the movement to come into a crab position on the other side and repeat. Animal Flow: Crab Reach LEARN MORE AT: 🤍 👉Fitness posters designed by me available here: 🤍 Start in a static crab position. Your fingers are pointing away from your body, spread your fingers. Your hips are about an inch away from the ground. The distance between your butt and your hands and your butt and your feet should be the same. Then start by reaching one arm up and over towards the ground, slightly bending your arm. Push your hips as high as you can and look towards the ground. This movement activates your posterior chain, while lengthening your anterior side. Targeting your back's extensors, glutes and triceps. Opening up your hip flexors and improving thoracic extension. You can use this movement as a part of a warm up or as a part of a circuit. Try it and have fun.

Strengthen your grip, rowing at different angles, a great combo to burn a ton of energy and connect to your body! . . Starting with rotational 1-arm Squat-Row aka power pull. And this week I’m adding a suspended crab reach. It’s very important to extend thru the hips driving through the feet equally. Retract shoulder blade fully (arm holding onto the suspension) and rotate through the T spine stacking the top shoulder over the bottom shoulder and reach over the head towards the floor. . . Enjoy this challenging exercise! *HOW TO DO A CRAB REACH* . . Similar to Spinal Wave, Crab Reach (also known as Tripod Reach) is one of the Form Specific Stretches (FSS) that combines flexibility and mobility. This movement not only helps you get stronger but also helps increase range of motion of our joints. The best way to get most out of these movements is to execute them slowly, and being fully present in the moment . . Here are the steps I try to keep in mind: 📍 Sit on the mat in crab position 📍 Place one hand behind you 📍 The other hand in front of you 📍 Open hips 📍 Then belly 📍 Then chest 📍 Then shoulders 📍 Reach back, like cutting your head in half 📍 Keep your eyes on your hand 📍 Return to starting position 📍 Switch hands 📍 If possible keep your butt hovering over the ground when switching hands . .
